How long do personalised Christmas stockings take?

Short answer: plan on 3 to 4 weeks from order to doorstep in the US or the UK, and a little longer in December. A custom stocking is not sitting on a shelf. It is printed after you order, with the names you send, so the time is the sum of four steps.

Why custom stockings take longer than plain ones

A plain stocking ships from stock. A personalised one waits for a proof, gets printed one at a time, and then ships. Most of the wait is shipping, not printing, which is why ordering early matters more than paying for speed.

Pet stockings and family sets

Pet name stockings take the same time as people stockings. If you are ordering for the whole family (pets included), put every name in one order so the stockings are printed and shipped together instead of arriving on different days.

US vs UK delivery

Both countries use the same tracked service and the same window. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico can take 1 to 2 weeks longer. UK parcels can wait a few extra days at customs in December.

The date that matters

Counting those steps back from Christmas Day, our order-by date is November 20, 2026. See the full breakdown on our Christmas stocking order deadlines page, or see the designs.
